Q: Can I start my Master Thesis with more than 35 LP open?
A: No! The Master thesis is 30 LP. And most courses have 5 points. But some have more than 5LP! (Visualization, Regression and ML 1 have 6 LP! M10 has 7LP!) So never miss them. Especially when they are only offered in the summer semester! This is always mentioned A) in the welcome session, B) here in the neighbour thesis section, C) here in the BHT web-page, D) here in the Rahmenprüfungsordnung §28 2(4), and E) confirmed 14th Oct 2025 by the dean.
