The Laboratory for Design and Urban Planning combines the disciplines of free presentation, building theory, interior design and urban planning. The teaching is therefore very diverse and is carried out by different people who draw their expertise from their own practice, but also from a profound theoretical background knowledge.

The laboratory is very active in the areas of research and public relations: projects such as the “Necropolis Project” by Prof. Dr. Junker or the seminar “City as Living Room” by Prof. Ebel, Prof. Ritzer and Prof. Vondenhof-Anderhalten lead to publications and/or exhibitions that generate a high degree of public attention and give students the opportunity to present their work.

You will find the laboratory in the “Haus Bauwesen” in rooms D162, D163 and D164 (in the northeast of the building facing Genter Straße).
