Laboratories in the Architecture Degree Program
Departments and study programs at the BHT are subdivided into laboratories. Each of these organizational units is headed by one professor.
There are five such laboratories in the architecture program, each of which specializes in a particular area of expertise.
The five laboratories of the architecture program are listed and described below.
The Design and Urban Planning Laboratory combines the disciplines of drawing and presentation, building design theory, interior design and urban planning.

The Laboratory for Building History and Building Conservation, with a focus on building history and building conservation, is located on the campus of the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology - Haus Bauwesen, Room 329.
Laboratory management: Prof. Dr. Eva Maria Froschauer
The Laboratory for Building Renovation and Energy Efficiency, which focuses on building physics, building services and energy planning, is located on the campus of the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology - Haus Bauwesen, Room 234.
Laboratory management: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Behne
The Laboratory for Digital Media and Construction Management takes care of PC workstations, BIM servers, laser cutting, laser scanning, 3D printing, printing and plotting services.
Laboratory management: Prof. Michael Holze
The Laboratory for Structures and Construction is located on the campus of the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology - Haus Bauwesen, Room D 220.
