Services for our Students
Various services are offered to students at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences to make studying and learning easier for them and to help them along the way.
Printing and Model-Making
The students of Department IV have access to a model-building workshop in room E56 in the Haus Bauwesen. The two professional employees, a designer and model-builder and a master carpenter, advise and support the students in their model-building projects.
Students have the opportunity to laser their models in the digital workshop. Information on making an appointment and a guide can be found here.
In the digital workshop, students have access to 3D printers, which they can use, for example, to print models of their designs in 3D.
CNC Milling Machine
The model-making workshop is equipped with a CNC milling machine (2D). The milling service is primarily available to students of Department IV for their final theses. In any case, a consultation (by appointment!) with construction plans is required in advance.
Carpentry Work
For questions and advice on your model making, the master carpenter Maik Lesker is available in room D E51.
The Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT) offers its members a copying service in cooperation RT Reprotechnik.de GmbH. Employees, teachers and students can order printing and copying services online via the printing portal. The price list can also be viewed there.
