A Coffee Bar for Haus Bauwesen
Design Build Project
As part of the student competition 10m2 Baukultur, students were asked to develop a proposal for the use of the parking spaces at the Stiftung Baukultur in Schiffbauergasse in Berlin Potsdam. The architecture students Lara Cordes and Ceyda Aksoy submitted a contribution in the cooperation of modules B08 | B09, which was one of 10 prizewinning contributions and was chosen for realization.
As a follow-up use, which was part of the design competition, the students proposed the use of the tower as a coffee bar in the Haus Bauwesen. The wind tower will be built and operated by students as a design-build project for the Long Night of the Sciences.
